A core tenet of FocusPoint is to conduct business with great integrity to ensure our business is beyond reproach. We ensure accountability, transparency in operations, and compliance with all of our legal, moral, and regulatory obligations. All partners and personnel (including contractors) must adhere to the highest ethical standards.
As a global business, we are compliant to all applicable labor laws. We voluntarily comply with the UK’s Modern Slavery Act and oppose and prohibit human trafficking, child labor, slavery, slave or forced labor (and other forms of modern slavery), and we demand the same of our partners and business associates. All of our personnel adhere to the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights, which was established in 2000 by the United States and the United Kingdom.
In 2012, FocusPoint became a signatory company of the International Code of Conduct for private security providers (ICoC), a Swiss government, multi-stakeholder initiative that aims to clarify international standards for the private security industry and improve oversight and accountability. FocusPoint is also a member of the UN Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative.

For the past decade (since 2012), our team at FocusPoint has been a committed member of the UN Global Compact – the world’s largest corporate responsibility initiative.
The UN Global Compact is a strategic policy initiative for businesses that are committed to aligning their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.
In keeping with the ten principles, FocusPoint is committed to the below principles.
Human Rights
Principle 1: Supports and respects the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights
Principle 2: Makes sure that we are not complicit in human rights abuses
Labor
Principle 3: Upholds the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining
Principle 4: Ensures the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labor
Principle 5: Supports the effective abolition of child labor
Principle 6: Warrants the elimination of discrimination in respect to employment and occupation
Environment
Principle 7: Supports a precautionary approach to environmental challenges
Principle 8: Undertakes initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility
