In the Event of a Tornado

Go to the basement or a room without windows on the lowest floor (bathroom, closet, center hallway)
Get under something sturdy (a heavy table or workbench) for added protection
Do not stay in a mobile home
If outdoors, stay away from bridge/highway overpasses
Listen to local area radio, NOAA radio, or TV stations for the latest information and updates
Return only when authorities say it is safe to do so
